Do broad beans seeds need to dry before planting? I put in a dozen fresh ones...They hadn't come up by the time I left..25th October...I'm away for another week, so I'll re-sow if still no sign then.

with dry ones from a packet i soak them in water for 48 hrs, change the water, give them another 24 hours, then plant them
