I am still getting tomatoes from the greenhouse, but cut the last lot of grapes yesterday. The leeks don't seem to be doing too badly, but they will be ready early next spring I think. There is some chard, the runner beans have had it, and the courgette plants are growing but not producing a lot. Still have some potatoes to dig.
Have been given a very pretty pot for the garden but we aren't sure how frost proof it is. So it's sitting safely indoors for the winter. Have decided where it will go in spring and what will grow in it.

What tomatoes I did get are now ripening in a bowl onn the kitchen bench.
Two squash are ripening in the greenhouse. I should sow some radish....
Not sure when to lift the beetroot..only sown at the end of May..
Runner beans for eating green are finished, the rest are for dried beans.
The leeks are coming along..but small....everything ended up late this year!!
I still have tomatoes in the greenhouse, but not sure if they will ripen. I live in hopes of some more courgettes, but not sure if they are going to grow or not. Cabbages are sort of meandering along; should get something from them, but not sure when. I bought some autumn onion sets and a large garlic bulb for planting, so they need to go in soon.
Much necessary tidying of small shrubs in pots. And words have been had with the fuchsias at the door and "that" rambling rose which will need further attention in a couple of weeks. Needs taking off the guttering - yes it rambles well.
We have some wisteria, jasmine and winter jasmine that need to be seriously dealt with. Not sure how much we can do ourselves though.
Still a few tomatoes, live in hopes of a few more courgettes and the cabbages are still growing. Need to cut back the hedge to get to the compost so I can add some to the onion bed.
All the beans and courgettes are over with; picked larger green toms in greenhouse, now ripening indoors; apples all picked a couple of weeks ago; brassicas - some have survived, others not, still growing; beets and chards still small. Marigolds and sweet peas have kept me in cut flowers for months now.
Still to harvest : Jerusalem artichokes, horseradish.
Winter tasks : moving perennial veg, herbs and flowers; transplanting/splitting clumps in neighbour's garden; hedge-cutting.....
