My supplier has absolutely nothing on offer at the moment for the future. They are trying to get my balance down to next to nothing by the end of March. Goodness knows what they will do for April and the 21 days of May. Perhaps they don't either.

British Gas and Eon are only offering variable tariffs at the moment if you switch (or have to switch). Which is almost the same as being on the price cap and not on a tariff. Over the years (at least 25) I have always gone for a fixed tariff.

For state pensioners and small businesses the present situation is not good.

I've just had a read of what's on my supplier's website. It's generally pay what they ask and they will update us on April 1st or as soon thereafter as possible. In other words, they are as wise as the rest of us.

With the current situation I am not surprised.
