So what are the prospects for hedgerow foraging this year - 2026?

Locally, the hawthorn flowered well and it looks as if there will b a good crop of haws if that's your forage

Dog rose flowering is very hit and miss looking out of the bus window and local hedges Rose hip syrup may be hit and miss

Looks as if there could be good pickings of elderberries later

Looks as if blackberries could also be hit and miss

What's local to all of you?

I need to go and check my usual sources.
Wild pears and apples. Couple of apple trees at a long derelict croft and plums there too. Elderberries. Brambles, hips and haws.
There are Hazels but I don't often get nuts... Either the squirrels or other forager get them!
Geans if I can reach them!!
