Next team in fell out with the local County Council's hygiene inspection team big time and publicly and were shut down
Next team in were spectacularly clean and so expensive no-one could afford them
it happens a lot with managed pubs, often because the management do not understand or like the punters who made it more than viable
the current crew own the premises seem to have built a good punter base for beer and food from the wreckage the last "owners" ,or scammers as i would describe them(a long history of unpaid bills, unpaid mortgages unfulfilled contracts and no money when the bailiffs arrive as the money they extract is in jersey and everything else is on credit
Had part of the family in fits of laughter about one of the local pubs in the better regarded "posh" village up road. They have been a few years moved from local to Scotland and hadn't kept pace with the Facebook account of the pub where three previous tenants in succession had done a runner.
Last tenant was moved on as it was part run by a team which were tipped out of their main premises in another village. The brewery team turned up there to do a very efficient lockout - took less than 12 hours that one. Much public laughter.
the last crew in this one "owned it" owed a lot on it is more accurate
before them owned it ,as 6 punters drinking 10 beers between them in a day is not a business model so they sold it
i can think of several where a good venue was left by the crew so they could create the next one and the place went from packed and profitable to ghost town in the first weekend with the new crew thinking it was about them and us punters needed training in their new ways
it is a while ago but £3k a night to £30 takings the first saturday(after friday's plastic glasses and "lion taming performances" lost them the weekend regulars)
in other places i have seen dismal taken to great in a few months
far quicker to break it that create it

The fate of this one seems to be a four bedroom private house subject to planning permission. And good luck with that one - obscure out of the way, don't want to set a precedent for housing there sort of thing.
